| Changsha, Hunan is very famous for its embroidery. And I have to tell you, seeing it up close...it is amazing that it was all done my hand on silk. Beautiful stuff. The photos do not do it justice...you really have to look close to see the intricate detail. Never thought I'd be excited to see embroidery but it is unique to my son's home city/country. Some of these pieces take over two years with two or more people working on them to complete. |
